Layton Marathon - October 8, 2011 is still open for registration and looking to Break at World Record

The 2nd Annual Layton Marathon is still open for registration. We are planning a great race for 2011 and we have a great turn out.

This year we have a team of 5 runners from Colorado called Team Liddell. If you notice from the picture they are running tied together. This style of running is called Centipede Style. Currently this record is held by a team that did the London Marathon but based on training and times this team is forecasted to beat it.

Powell3 Triathlon Challenge - October 22, 2011 Only 50 spots left in registration

The Powell3 Triathlon Challenge is almost full for 2011 and we only have around 50 spots left. This is one of our favorite races for landscape beauty and fun. Though limited on space the P3 always delivers a great time and fun. Santa Runs for 2011 - Ogden, Provo and West Valley

We are already seeing a great turn out for 2011 with the 4th Annual Utah Santa Run. As many of you are probably aware we now have a Santa Run in West Valley to serve that community and Salt Lake City. Do not miss our last races of 2011. Remember your $35 registration fee includes a full Santa Suit that you get to keep and those 8 and under get to race for free with paid regular registration. We are hoping to see this race grow again in 2011 from 700 in Ogden and 350 in Provo. Each year this race has grown between 75% to 100% in size. We encourage you to run or watch this race and see what it is all about.

Bear Lake Brawl Triathlon 2012 - Two Dates

August 25, 2012 - Olympic & Sprint

September 8, 2012 - Half Iron 70.3

The Bear Lake Brawl Triathlon has grown so much that we decided to create two dates for this race. This will allow more racers for each event and help the course become safer. This last August 2011 we had 150 racers for the Half Iron 70.3 and we turned away many Half participants. With the change we can see the Half fit up to 600 racers. This will also allow those interested to do both courses to do them. Also with each course being on a separate days it will be safer for the participants and lessen the congestion in the transition area. Lastly it will not conflict with the other Half Iron course on the same day. We hope to see you in 2012.
